Party with(out) Phones

We are overusing our phones. Online social is quicker and easier, but the joy of face-to-face interaction can never be achieved by staring at the screen. So, in order to avoid overuse of phones during party times, I decided to hijacking phones and using them as a mandatory part of the party.

# 1 is a hybrid campfire made of wood, candles and phones. It also thinks about the ownership of urban space. People live in cities but have no right to light bonfires in urban spaces. This project provides a flexible way for users to light hybrid bonfires in urban spaces. Although people in city can only light a small candle in the public area, they can use their phones as fuel and more phones lead to more fires and bigger campfires!
